I had the opportunity to take a week-long vacation with a group of friends to Mexico. We stayed in San Carlos, in a house that was no more than three hundred steps from the beautiful Sea of Cortez. To say that I feel spoiled is a bit of an understatement. We returned stateside today and I already miss it- including the sand everywhere and in everything.
Among the group of (extremely talented) friends was a most excellent videographer, Seth Schaefer, who had recently purchased what I now understand to be the latest-greatest-best-fastest-run-and-jump-like-nobody’s-business video camera by Canon. He, like a man with a new guitar, camera or other fun toy was just itching to play with it. He asked if I’d like to make a video.
The man works at the highest levels of professionalism. What was I supposed to say- “no”?
This is a tune I wrote a few months ago and I’m SO pleased with the video. I think it’s gorgeous (minus my goofy face and bare feet) and shot really well. I hope you enjoy it.
